How much does it cost to record a show?
For stage schools and performing arts groups we work on a minimum order quantity, once the minimum is met there is no cost to you!
For streaming & DVD options the minimum order quantity varies depending on the time of year from between 40-60 DVDs/streams per recorded performance. If the minimum order is not reached you are responsible for the balance to achieve the minimum.
e.g: If the minimum order is 40 and 35 streams are sold, the balance for you to cover would be 5 streams.
I run a stage school, how does VLIX work?
From ordering to delivery, we handle it all. This removes all the stress of taking orders, payment and distribution from you. We work on a minimum order quota and as long as the minimum is met there is no charge to you!
Can I record my show just for archive?
Of course! We can create custom streaming and DVD options for all shows and also record solely for archive.

Delivering your show on VLIX.tv *recommended*
VLIX.tv is our custom built streaming platform designed to cater for stage schools and performing arts groups. It’s easy to use, intuitive, innovative and secure. Our aim is to deliver high quality event video and make it easily accessible to all viewers on all devices and in full High Definition/4K.
Shows can be watched anywhere on any device: phones, computers, tablets etc. Shows can also be cast via ChromeCast and AirPlay and have performance/scene selection options to easily find the performance/scene you’re looking for – just like a DVD!
To order a show performers/parents will receive a link to register on VLIX.tv. When registering they will select your school and this means they will only see shows by your school. When a show is available to watch users can watch online, on any device, any time, forever!
Delivering your show on DVD
We can also provide DVD delivery. Each show will get a custom ordering link (eg: VLIX.ie/cinderella). Parents/performers can visit any time and order a DVDs and pay via credit/debit cart. We’ll send an order confirmation email and also a dispatch email when we post the DVDs 4/5 weeks after the show.
Video and audio quality
We take a direct audio feed from the sound board and also record our own room audio to capture applause and crowd reaction, these are all mixed together in the final edit for a complete sound mix.

Summer dates book out quickly so we recommend booking your dates early.
After availability is confirmed and you select a streaming/DVD option and any extras you may want, we will draft and sign an agreement and the date is secured!
